Which debounce period (anti-bounce filter) should I choose?

The debounce period filters out parasitic impulses or bounces.

It is necessary to know the pulse width generated by the meter head (characteristic given by the manufacturer of the meter or meter head) and set the debounce period to the lower value available (e.g. for a pulse width of 50ms, set the period to 20ms).
