Periodic configuration for Breath (ARF8377)

This tutorial focuses on the periodic configuration with and without logging of a BREATH sensor (ARF8377) in LoRaWan and SIGFOX via IoT Configurator. 

The product is used to measure and periodically transmit the values of fine particle (PM10, PM2.5 and PM1) and TVOC sensors.

Once your sensor is connected to the IoT configurator, open the ‘APPLICATIVE CONFIG’ section and then ‘Global configuration’.

For periodic transmission, the parameters associated with this operating mode are :

• Historization period (S320)

• Transmission period (S301)

For transmission with history:

• The product saves the PM and VOC measurements every 10 minutes (600 secs)
• The product makes 6 back-ups and transmits them once an hour (6 x 600 secs = 3600 secs).

For transmission without history :

Simply set register 301 (Transmission period) to 1, so the product will send a frame each time it is saved (1 x 600sec = 600secs).

Note: Sensors communicating via the SIGFOX protocol do not support periodic mode with logging because the Data frame is too small (11 bytes), so only settings without logging are valid.
