Activation des capteurs smart building

Modified on Tue, 28 Jan at 2:42 PM

This tutorial focuses on activating LoRaWan and SIGFOX smart building sensors:

    - Comfort (ARF8275)

    - Comfort Serenity (ARF8373)

    - Breath (ARF8377)

Your sensor is delivered in PARK mode, so it's on standby and consumes very little power.

There are two ways of activating this sensor, via the side button or locally via our IoT configurator tool.

Activation via the side button :

Once your sensor has been configured and mounted, it is ready to be started.

To start the product, press the button for 5 seconds. The green LED lights up for 1 second to indicate that the button has been pressed and then flashes rapidly as the product starts up.

Once the product has validated its start-up, it transmits its configuration frames and then, after the set transmission period, a data frame.

At the end of this tutorial, you'll find a video showing how to activate a product and the different LED sequences.

Activation via IoT Configurator :

Once your sensor has been configured, you can also activate it and replace it on the body of the box. This must be fixed beforehand so that the sensor starts up at its installation point.

To start the product, you need to change the operating mode in the ‘General configuration’ tab.

As the sensors are delivered in PARK mode, you must select PRODUCTION mode.

Then click on ‘SEND TO SENSOR’ (top right) to confirm the sensor settings.

A popup window appears to confirm application of the settings, click on ‘OK’.

Finally, the confirmation message below validates the import of the change of operating mode

All you have to do is click on ‘DISCONNECT’ (top right) and the sensor begins its activation sequence.

Once the product has validated its start-up, it transmits its configuration frames and then, after the defined transmission period, a data frame.

At the end of this tutorial, you'll find a video showing the activation of a product and the different LED sequences.
